UPenn LSRM Renovation

Project Detail:

UPenn LSRM 2nd Floor Bathroom Renovation

Pride Enterprises converted the 2nd floor existing office and bathroom spaces into two separate Mens and Womens bathrooms at UPenn’s Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter (LSRM) building. The renovation scope included selective demolition, new floor & wall tile, ceiling modifications, GWB walls and new finishes as well as installing bathroom accessories and millwork. Because this space was adjacent to occupied areas, noise and dust control were a high priority. We protected the hallway flooring and carpeting in the adjacent office space and kept noise to a minimum or early morning to minimize disruption to staff. New plumbing piping & fixtures, ductwork and re-balancing were also installed. The electrical work consisted of replacing the lighting fixtures and new outlets/receptacles as well as panic buttons, occupancy sensors and new wiring throughout.
