Project Overview
In joint venture with Gilbane Building Company and McKissack & McKissack, Pride is delivering the Morgan Center for Research and Innovation, a 14-story, 350,000-square-foot research tower for CHOP. Construction began in October 2022.
The building features wet labs for biochemical studies, advanced dry labs for analytics, and collaboration zones that connect park-like and retail environments at the ground level. The project engages a broad range of regional businesses, with over 50% diverse participation. The Morgan Center will serve as both a pediatric research hub and a neighborhood connector in South Philadelphia.
