U1 Residence Hall project located at 46th and Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia is a new, mixed use student housing facility for first year students. Prior to constructing the new building, the Alexander Wilson Elementary School had to be demolished (approx. 40,000 sf). This project was designed to achieve Two Green Globes for new construction from the Green Building Initiative will require specific construction materials and methods to be employed, inspected, verified, and documented. Pride Enterprises, Inc. worked directly with the University in the management of all onsite and offsite construction activities.
