Sep 25, 2023

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Gilbane Building Company on the monumental renovation of the nearly 100-year-old William H. Gray III – 30th Street Station. As part of a skilled building team, our collective endeavor will breathe new life into the nearly century-old transportation hub, ensuring a blend of historical preservation and modern functionality.

Pride Enterprises holds a steadfast commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the construction realm. This project presents a significant stride in actualizing this ethos, as we join forces with Gilbane, a trailblazer in promoting diversity within the industry. By incorporating a diverse pool of talents, we aim to propel innovation and execute a renovation blueprint that encapsulates modernity, functionality, and historical reverence.

Our involvement in this project entails meticulous planning and execution across a sprawling 500,000 square feet of renovation and modernization space. This initiative is not merely a refurbishment endeavor but a crucial step towards fulfilling the broader Philadelphia 30th Street Station District Plan, setting a robust foundation for the anticipated $10 billion investment in urban development destined to materialize over the next several decades. This development is projected to unveil up to 18 million square feet of new commercial and residential space, redefining Philadelphia's urban landscape.

Together with Gilbane, we aspire to rejuvenate the William H. Gray III – 30th Street Station, crafting a transit haven that resonates with the dynamic spirit of Philadelphia and serves as a testament to what collaborative endeavor and diverse thought leadership can achieve in modern-day construction. The ripple effects of this project are profound, extending beyond architectural transformation to boost economic development, improve pedestrian circulation and wayfinding, and add an estimated 3,000 direct/indirect jobs to the local community.

This redevelopment project is more than a mere architectural venture; it's a narrative of progress, inclusivity, and a shared vision for a future where our built environment mirrors the diversity and vibrancy of the communities it serves. We are wholeheartedly invested in contributing to a transit-centric neighborhood that not only caters to the evolving needs of Philadelphia's populace but also lays down a marker for future infrastructural projects nationwide.

At Pride Enterprises Inc., we remain steadfast in our commitment to setting new standards in diversity and operational excellence within the construction industry. As we move forward with this monumental project, we invite you to stay tuned for more updates and explore how we are contributing to reshaping the urban landscape for the better.
