Chidiebere Uzoije
Chidiebere Uzoije has over 15 years of progressive construction management experience in estimating and management of large scale and multiple projects. Chidi is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) federal contracting estimating expert primarily responsible for the estimation and negotiation of project values. He is also involved in the start-up, management and closeout of jobs.
A member of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers as well as the American Society of Civil Engineers, Chidi earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria in Nsukka, EN. PEI was recently selected as the Construction to enhance the walking/jogging/biking trail that connects Center City with Kelly Drive and West River Drive. The construction to realize the new architecturally designed landscape, activity areas, promenades and seating areas is valued at $3 million. Mr. Uzoije serves as the Project Manager of approximately 3,400 linear feet of landscaping and hardscaping along the Park Trail from Race Street to Locust Street. The landscaping includes trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, ornamental grasses, groundcover, earthwork, topsoil, seeding and mulching. The hardscaping includes granite stone and Belgian block paving, precast concrete walls and curbs, stone fines and boulders.

PEI is currently fulfilling an award to renovate the National Historic Landmark, Grey Towers. The $4.5M worth of site work in addition to the new construction of The Grey Towers Welcome Center is currently being managed by Chidi Uzoije. The extensive renovations include enhancement of the gardens, landscaping and tree lines, plus new stone walkways, parking and general upgrading of the storm water management along the entrance road of the estate. The entire project including the two-story, 1600 sq ft. new facility involves all trades including: Site Work, Paving, Masonry, Plumbing, HVAC, Interior Finishes, Carpentry, Drywall, Painting, Window and Door installation, Fire Proofing, Flooring, Metal Work, Mechanical Work, Roofing, Sprinkler Systems, and Electrical Work.
- Paul and Christine Washington Family Center Philadelphia, PA
Chidi Uzoije served as the Project Manager as PEI took part in the restoration of the Church of the Advocate to its original configuration. The Paul and Christine Washington Center was constructed in the footprint of the original rectory, which was destroyed by fire. The new community center was built into the remains of the walls from the existing structure and currently houses office space and a small gymnasium for recreation and community events. This $2.2M project involved all trades including:Cast-in-Place Concrete, Cut Stone Masonry, Masonry, Plaster Finishes, Custom Millwork and Carpentry, Custom Downspouts, Metal Handrails, Slate Roof, Ceramic Wall and Floor Tiles, Stone Veneer Walls, Matching Existing Mortars, Landscaping, Site Utility Installation, Electrical Work, HVAC, Plumbing, Site Work, Underpinning, and a Gymnasium Floor.
- Repair Library Building 22 Dover AFB, DE
Mr. Uzoije served as Project Manager over $1M worth of repair work and construction involving the enclosure of stairwells as well as re-facing the fa?ade of the building. The work required: Site Work, Concrete, Demolition, Doors, Frame &Hardware installation, Electrical Work, EIFS, excavation and backfill, Aluminum and Glazing, HVAC, Painting, Standing Seam Roofing, Wet Pipe Sprinkler System and a new installation of a hydraulic elevator.

Chidi managed this $577K project renovating the Bethany Beach Training Center for DEANG. The renovation included the demolition of one (1) latrine and the new construction of two (2) building additions including the Lift Station to process sewage. The new construction included Selective Demolition, Excavation and Backfill, Cast-in-place Concrete, Masonry, Rough &Finish carpentry, Exterior Insulation &Finish System, Architectural Shingle Roofing, Doors, Frames &Hardware, Solid Vinyl Windows, Drywall, Painting, Toilet Partitions &Accessories, Sewage Grinder Pumps, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Work.
